This class has it all, shooting techniques, post-production workflow tricks, and steps to make your prints look amazing. If you are photographer looking for a great all in one class, that will fill in the gaps of your workflow, this is a perfect class for you.
This class starts on Tuesday night, with a lecture and demo on camera settings and steps for capturing the images for class. Students will then have the rest of the night, and early next morning to use those skills to capture images.
Wednesday’s class starts with importing the images from the shoot into Lightroom to start the post-production process. Images will be tagged, sorted and processed using the best techniques and practices in the post-production world.
The last part of class will take the best images from the shoot and print them out, with correct calibration, profile and printer settings in order to make a great looking print.
Gear Requirements: Camera, lenses, operating manual, and tripod for the photography portion of class. All students photography will take place outdoors, so dress appropriately. A laptop and the latest version of Lightroom, Lightroom Classic CC, installed on the laptop, plus at least 80 GB of free space on your hard drive for photos. Printer, ink and paper will be provided in class.
Prerequisites: Students should have a basic understanding of how to change camera settings, shutter speed, aperture and ISO on their camera. They also need a basic understanding of Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, or have taken the Lightroom Basics class.
