Class description: Let’s face it, studios are expensive, home studios can be difficult to setup and maintain, and many clients/projects require getting out into the field to make images. From weddings and editorials, to family portraiture and lifestyle, the importance of working on location is a necessity for photographers. This course is perfect for those photographers that want to create amazing portraits of individuals or groups with the use of natural or artificial lighting, regardless of location.

This class will start with in class demonstration and instruction during the morning. Students will learn about the key pieces of equipment need to work on location, as well as how to use that equipment to create the results they are looking for. In the afternoon class will meet on location and put into practice the techniques learned in the morning class. Students will have models and products to work with, as well as different lighting issues to either work with or solve.

By the end of this course students will have a new understanding about working on location, with available or artificial light, and feel more comfortable making the photos they and their clients want.
